Drive-Away Dolls captures the feelings of isolation and uncertainty that arise on a journey of self-discovery.            The path is not always clear, but growth comes from being willing to take the next step anyway.            

            The creative process began with drawing from the Americana fantasy of travelling cross-country in search of something more. Familiar styling, materials, and details were kept with the subjects to connect them to who they were before entering a new environment.            

            These elements were then placed against changing landscapes, with small adjustments in styling to show how personal identity can respond to discomfort without being lost. The final images explore self-discovery through physical changes in styling, setting, and composition rather than complete reinvention.
